Mas Molera - Rural Tourism in la Garrotxa (Costa Brava, Spain)

MAS MOLERA

Mas Molera is an old Catalan farmhouse from the 11th century, fully refurbished.
It is located within the Natural Park of the Volcanic Area of La Garrotxa. Very old oak trees, fields and meadows surround the house. It is a place to relax while enjoying the Catalan traditions.

Near the house, there are good communications; it is 1 km from Olot, perfectly placed to enjoy La Garrotxa, the East Pyrenees and the Costa Brava.

THE LODGINGS

The original farmhouse comprises two houses “the casa Pairal” and “the Masoveria”. The “casa Pairal” has 5 double rooms in suite, Dining/Living-room, kitchen. It can be rented for individual rooms or all the entire house can be rented with a capacity for 12 people. The adjacent house is “the Masoveria” with two independent apartments to accommodate 4/5 people.

LODGINGS

Every accommodation is independent, so they can to be occuped for different family or group. All the space in every accommodation is private, and it has all the furniture and equipment that you need.

When the accommodations are used for the same family or group, both are well-comunicated.

IN NONE OF THE TWO LODGINDS DOGS ARE ALLOWED. In the farmhouse there are dogs and farm animals (we decide not to accept them to avoid possible problems with other clients).

OUTDOORS (the same for both lodgings)

Around the house there are different areas of activity:

• Barbecue: Next to it, there is a dining room with a long table, to share with a big group.
• Sandpit for children: where the kids can enjoy themselves.
• Volleyball court: For those who enjoy sport, there are a standard volleyball court and a smaller one, there is also a good shower to refresh you when the weather is hot.

Apart from that, you will find places to relax, rest and read in a nice quiet environment.
